Sour Dough Starter

OVER NIGHT SOUR DOUGH STARTED
3 TABLESPOON'S DRY YEAST
4 CUPS FLOUR
4 CUPS WARM WATER
PUT IN A GAL. JAR LOOSELY COVERED

READY TO USE IN 6 HOURS


3 DAY SOURDOUGH STARTER:

2 CUPS FLOUR
1 TEASPOON SALT
3 TABLESPOON SUGAR
1 PKG. DRY YEAST OR 1 HEAPING TABLESPOON
2 CUPS LUKE WARM WATER


PUT IN A GALLON GLASS OR PLASTIC JAR

JAR STIR FROM TIME TO TIME

BE SURE TO STIR AT LEAST ONCE A DAY

WHEN YOU USE ANY OF THE STARTER ALWAYS PUT BACK 1 CUP OF FLOUR AND 1 CUP WARM WATER

STIR DON'T HAVE TO GET THE LUMPS OUT THEY WILL DO THAT THERE SELF.

I HAVE USED THIS FOR YEAR'S AND I HAVE FROZEN THE STARTER IF I DO NOT USE IT ONCE A WEEK.

IF FROZEN: LET THAW ADD 1 CUP FLOUR AND 1 CUP WARM WATER

LET STAND OVER NIGHT AND READY TO USE AGAIN.
