Sugar Spice Nuts

From the kitchen of JaLeen Deardurff

3/4 cup Sugar
1/2 tsp. cloves
3 Tbs. Water
1/4 tsp. Allspice
1 Egg White lightly beaten
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
1 tsp. Salt
1 1/2 cups whole unbleached Almonds

Combine first eight ingredients together and mix well.

Add nuts and stir until coated.

Spread in greased 15x10x2 inch pan and bake at 250 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown.

Stir every 15 minutes.

Spread on wax paper to cool.

Makes about 3 1/2 cups.
